Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American television and film actress. Her most well-known role is for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Kellie Martin is most well-known for her performance as the protagonist in The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin was born to a department store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her career as an actress at age seven, when her aunt who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's kids was able to help Martin land a role in 1982 series "Father Murphy". In the years following after her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting, and managed to secure significant roles on both television and cinema. Martin is, in addition to being an actor, is also a skilled photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Her sister who passed away from Lupus at age 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
